Who we are
SEOelinks (“we”, “us”) is an search marketing agency operating from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. For the personal information collected through this website and through our client work, SEOelinks acts as the controller. Where we handle data inside a client’s own analytics, CMS or ad accounts as part of a service engagement, we act as a processor on that client’s instructions.

Your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL and anything you type into our audit or contact forms. If you become a client, we also hold billing and contract details.
Information collected automatically
IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed and time on page, gathered through server logs and analytics.
Client account access
With your permission we receive delegated access to tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, ad platforms and your CMS.
Correspondence
Emails, call notes, proposals and reporting history kept so we can deliver and evidence the work.

Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for two things: keeping the site working (session and security cookies) and measuring traffic. Analytics cookies record aggregated behaviour such as page views, referrers and rough location at city level. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site will continue to function, but some measurement will be lost. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are only set after you consent.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your contact details with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share information with
Service providers
Hosting, email, analytics, CRM and payment providers who process data on our behalf under contract and only for the purpose we specify.
Professional advisers
Accountants and legal advisers where necessary for compliance.
Legal requests
Where we are required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Business transfer
If the business is ever sold or restructured, records may transfer to the successor under the same commitments.
International transfers
Our records are held in Canada and in the systems of providers that may store data in the United States or the European Union. Where personal information leaves your jurisdiction, we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you return, then deleted. Client records, deliverables and reporting are kept for the length of the engagement plus seven years to satisfy Canadian tax and record-keeping requirements. Delegated access to your tools is removed within 30 days of an engagement ending, or immediately on request.
Security
Access to client accounts is granted by delegation rather than shared passwords wherever the platform supports it. Accounts we control use unique credentials stored in a password manager with multi-factor authentication. Access is limited to the people working on your account. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise: if a breach affects your information and creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Your rights
Access
Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction
Ask us to fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Deletion
Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep for legal reasons.
Withdraw consent
Opt out of analytics or marketing email at any time without affecting your service.
To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact page. We respond within 30 days. If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Visitors in the UK or EU may complain to their local supervisory authority.
Children
Our services are sold to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our tools or practices change. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting existing clients are communicated by email.
